PHP Software Developer

Short term assignment

Remote position within Argentina & Uruguay only. Short term assignment

RYZ is looking for a PHP Software Developer to one of our clients, a startup building products to transform the trading card industry. While they are a small team building new products from the ground up they have exclusive licensing deals with the MLB, NFL, and NBA. They are out to reinvent the trading card industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using PHP
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and implement new features
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices
  
  
  

Basic Requirements:

• 3+ years of professional experience in PHP development
• Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter)
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  
  
  

Nice-to-Haves:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure)
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js)
