      Started as an individual contributor on a team of highly qualified engineers, and in a few months I was already giving my first steps as a tech lead in the company, building a brand new application.
      Back on the day our codebase was not scaling for our org. So aside from developing product initiatives, I had the honor of being part of the team that would define the axioms of a monorepo for our whole applications suite, which led to the monorepos design talk for NodeConf 2018…

      Started as an individual contributor on a team of highly qualified engineers, and in a few months I was already giving my first steps as a tech lead in the company, building a brand new application.
      Back on the day our codebase was not scaling for our org. So aside from developing product initiatives, I had the honor of being part of the team that would define the axioms of a monorepo for our whole applications suite, which led to the monorepos design talk for NodeConf 2018 (https://2018.nodeconfar.com/sebastian-bogado.html), featured in my profile.

      Then I moved to a core team owning the actual surveys the final gets (to put it simple, Medallia is a gathering platform and one of the main channels are the surveys). Some highlights worth mentioning:
      - improved loading performance
      - defined a new release process
      - improved accessibility to meet WCAG 2.1 standard
      - implemented dynamic questions based on arbitrary conditions

      Finally went back to my previous team leading product initiatives.

Went from googling how to create an object in JavaScript to FE tech lead in three years, to interviewing dozens of candidates to build and lead a team of 9 FE engineers in my last and most impactful project.     Although most of my experience was with JS, I’ve also been involved in Java, Grails, Python and C++ projects.
