IT Operations - Software Engineer

The Chevron Business Center (BASSC), located in Buenos Aires (Puerto Madero), Argentina, is accepting online applications for the position of Software Engineer. Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration, report generation, and system maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application engineering, with a focus on software development and system integration.
• Strong understanding of software engineering processes and systems.
• Proficiency in data management, including data loading, validation, and transformation.
• Experience with system integration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to create and maintain complex reports using various reporting tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and other departments. This includes providing training and to end-s.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with Azure, C#, SQL, and Ansible.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of IT architecture best practices, including cybersecurity and process automation.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices and compliance requirements, ensuring that systems are secure and meet regulatory standards.
• Familiarity with cloud computing and site reliability engineering.
• Experience in scripting languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, Python,
