We are seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to strategically lead and execute technical initiatives. In partnership with the technical CEO, you'll develop a roap aligned with strategic goals and KPIs. Your focus will be on ensuring architectural excellence and code quality while empowering the Implementation Engineer to deliver impactful features for web and mobile PWA environments. As the key liaison between the C-Suite and the development team, you will maintain development momentum while the executive team addresses broader strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate on defining and prioritizing quarterly and sprint-level goals, translating them into technical epics and tasks
Review designs, prototypes, and code to ensure adherence to best practices, catching edge cases early and reducing review cycles
Advise on system architecture, data modeling, and third-party integrations, ensuring the stack scales with clear separation of concerns and minimal technical debt
Guide, coach, and empower the implementation engineer through effective , pair programming, and documented coding standards
Identify gaps in requirements or technical risks autonomously, raising questions with clear options, time estimates, and recommended solutions
Act as a liaison between product, design, and engineering, facilitating sprint planning, backlog grooming, and post-mortem discussions
Qualifications:
At least 5 years of experience as a senior/full-stack engineer or technical lead, preferably in startups or lean teams
Deep hands-on expertise in Next.js, React, TypeScript, Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions), Chakra UI, and Recoil
Proven track record of delivering KPI-driven features with minimal rework
Strong code-review skills, including experience in formalizing style guides, linting, and CI/CD pipelines
Excellent communication skills, capable of summarizing complex trade-offs and influencing stakeholders
Self-starter who thrives in ambiguous, fast-paced environments
