The Role:
You must display excellent written and oral skills, with demonstrated interpersonal and organisation abilities. Need to be enthusiastic about technology and constantly looking at the next innovation. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to perform testing with accuracy, under pressure and aggressive timelines and can log defects correctly in the client’s defect management tool. Should be process oriented and follow the clients standards and procedures. Should be proactive and keen to uncover errors.
Key Responsibilities
Meet challenging deadlines, documenting and adhering to process at all times
Collaborate and contribute to the processes and procedures in place to ensure a smooth ow of work through the QC department
Be able to plan, estimate and strategize the work.
Carry out istrative tasks to do with configuration management
Manage all tickets and bugs through QA tools
Be able to write test plans and document progress
Proven accuracy and attention to detail
Enthusiasm born of pride in the output
Understanding of basic Unix commands to be able navigate through the terminal and execute scripts
Work within a carefully constructed process quickly but accurately
Examine and test output against checklist of criteria to ensure standards
Communicate issues with colleagues, teams or seniors for executive resolution. Active participation in the resolution process.
Requirements
Work across both Mac and PC platforms (mainly in Client environment)
Experience working with Front-end Web Page developments
Webpage Creative Compliance and Formatting, according to style sheet Copy and Content QA according to brief
Image, video and other media assets
Cross Browser Compatibility
Localization testing
Usability and Accessibility Testing
Device testing – Familiarity with Fluid, page responsiveness
Knowledge on any Defect Management tool (JIRA, Mercury / Rational tools)
Familiarity with SQL – Intermediate level
Basic Knowledge of Unix / Linux (Shell scripting)
Able to run test scripts
Familiarity with email client testing across major mail clients (including Outlook and Mail)
Familiarity with web email testing across major email clients (including Gmail, O ce365, Yahoo!) – Link Testing
