I worked under Prof. Dr. Nazareno Ferreira de Andrade supervision, developing a collaborative system for carpooling on a university campus. The development was motivated by the low occupancy rate in the cars and heavy traffic in large cities. There were not many clues on how to adapt this type of system to the context of the Brazilian public. So, we conducted an investigation on how to develop a ride-sharing system based on the -centered design. The results highlighted topics relevant to…

There were not many clues on how to adapt this type of system to the context of the Brazilian public. So, we conducted an investigation on how to develop a ride-sharing system based on the -centered design. The results highlighted topics relevant to brazilian s and were used to specify the requirements of a collaborative mobile application in which students can easily share rides. This application is under development through Play! Framework using the Java language.
