I am currently the maintainer of this app which is basically and EDI processor. It allows shipping lines to an excel file following a predefined format and generates the corresponding EDI. It originally used AngularJS but since the last few months I have been working on its migration to Angular 9.

Worked as a full-stack developer in the process of building the Bussines Portal (Proof of Concept) for the Penang Port in Malaysia. This portal is used by shippers, clients, Customs Offices, Line Operators, Trucking companies, and many others third-party clients and allowed them to perform all the operations needed in a port such us containers management, import and export operations, vessel arrivals and appointments management for the trucking companies.

Due to the complexity of the projects I was invited to do a 3-week in-site training in Caterpillar's offices located in Peroia, Illinois (USA). From this experience I could learn how to relate, communicate and be part of a team who did not speak my native language in a foreign country.

Java, Struts, Servlets, JSPs and Javascript have been used as main technologies for the app.
The working methodology consisted of 2 or 3 weekly meetings with the rest of the team located in Peoria, Illinois (USA) in which we provided status for the current tasks we were working on, and the desired scheduled for the rest of them. The deploys in production were carried out once a month after the code has been revised, approved and tested in Code Review meetings.
