    development patterns. A good architecture can leverage the system
    development and result in software compliant with stakeholder requirements.
    Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) is a new architectural style that came to
    solve a lot of problems with distributed architectures, dynamic systems and
    other issues found in today industry. In this paper, an approach for describing a
    Service Oriented Architecture is proposed by comparing with several other
    initiatives. Through a research about SOA concepts and using Medvidovic´s
    classification framework, the basis for a SOA Architecture Description
    Language is presented.
