    The nanospheres are carriers of the magnetic particles that are being studied for use in
    the future in photodynamic therapy and diagnosis of tumors. To be better used in these
    diagnoses in their production process must have an element of an absolute sphericity,
    considering an error set. This work aims to contribute to the quality control of the level of
    production of nanospheres processing the image of a sample of the resulting nanospheres and
    sphericity of each one, for it took place the following steps: obtaining images of these
    nanospheres, this image binarization by choose a threshold of binarization, obtaining
    information relating to detect objects in the picture, tracing the center of mass of the object
    and algorithm that calculates all the distances of the edges of objects in the center of mass.
    With this one can identify the nanospheres and measure the degree of sphericity according to
    the application response.
