    The system is using the world’s proven microwave technology based on Dedicated Short Range Communication (DSRC).
    It allows road s to pay toll without stopping at toll plazas.
    Along the toll road network, gantries fitted with antennas, enable the communication between the transceivers and the special devices, called on-board units (OBU), which are mounted on the windscreen of the vehicles.
    The direct communication of the so-called multi-lane-free-flow facility (MLFF) between the device in the vehicle, on-board unit (OBU), and the toll gantries allows fully automatic calculation of the toll when ing underneath the toll portals.
    I am involved on the development of the back-end of the CRM, Invoicing and collection and OBU management systems. I am also involved on the development
    of the beltoll web site wich allows road s to create pre-registrations and view/edit their contract information and usage. I also develope the Distribution Point application, wich is an application with reduced functionallity from the CRM. This application is intended to be used by road s on the gas stations.
