Nearly 60 people from across Tenaris -including Argentina, Canada, China, Saudi Arabia, the U.S., and the UAE- gathered in Houston for a Workshop on the Technical Aspects of Shales. Participants included of the Technical Sales, Commercial, Technology, Field Service, Supply Chain, and Product Marketing teams. Over four days, they engaged in discussions on well integrity, market trends, and the latest Tenaris technologies and services for unconventional wells. A key highlight was a visit to a rig and Tenaris’s remote monitoring center, which provides around-the-clock monitoring, running assistance, and technical emergency response. En referencia al legado de Agostino Rocca y el papel transformador de la cultura industrial en el país, destacó: “La tarea nuestra ha sido la de acompañar la fuerza de un grupo humano extraordinario, manteniendo los valores fundamentales de la cultura industrial, que al final transforma al país y a los lugares donde trabajamos.” Por último, destacó la importancia de la relación entre industria y comunidad como eje del desarrollo sostenible: “La industria se ancla dentro de las comunidades donde tiene sus instalaciones y donde debe construir una relación de crecimiento mutuo. La educación es la herramienta clave para el progreso social, económico y cultural.” La distinción fue entregada por Luis Pagani, ex CEO de Arcor, quien había recibido el premio en el 2024.
